Seminars and Roundtables for Adjusters, Employers and TPAs
Since 1967, the law firm of Walsh and Hacker has provided defense counsel and representation in workers’ compensation. Over the decades, we have developed and adapted winning strategies to help our clients fight phony claims and mitigate their exposure for legitimate work-related injuries.
As an extension of our litigation and risk management practice, we provide proactive educational sessions to help clients comply with New York laws and administer claims to minimize risk and protect their bottom line.
Based in Albany, Walsh and Hacker serves insurance carriers, third-party administrators, self-insured employers and governmental entities. Contact us today to arrange a seminar or roundtable discussion with our veteran workers’ comp attorneys.
Workers’ Compensation Training for Defense Clients
We have had a great response to our informal roundtable sessions. We will come to your office or local conference center to talk face-to-face with groups of insurance adjusters, TPA adjusters, employers, city or school administrators, and/or your in-house counsel. In a question-and-answer format, we can discuss such issues as:
- Legislative changes of the last few years
- Trends, defenses and relevant case law
- “Rocket Docket” expedited claims
- Hearings and appeals
- Section 32 settlement conferences
- Claims not covered by workers’ comp
- General Municipal Law 207(a) and 207(c) claims
Upon request we can also arrange formal seminars to provide an overview of workers’ compensation defense or to zero in on specific topics.
New York Workers’ Compensation Employers’ Lawyers
We welcome inquiries from workers’ comp insurance carriers, third-party administrators and employers about these educational opportunities that we believe will be future dividends by avoiding traps and mitigating your litigation and settlement costs.
